Wall Art

So I'm real excited about THIS post by How About Orange... I've been trying to come up w/ some type of wall art for our living room that would also be an easy way to incorporate colors into the room. Our living room is very open and spacious and right now is overwhelmed w/ brown and natural colors w/ lots of wall space. So, I was excited when I saw this post and was even MORE excited when I saw the 3rd idea....making from Ceiling Rosettes/Medallions

This should be a rather inexpensive decor and it'd be a great way to incorporate the colors that I want in our living room. I checked it out and Ace Hardware carries ceiling medallions along w/ Lowe's. I couldn't find any online at Home Depot but perhaps if I went to the store they'd have some.

Anyways, I'm really excited about this cool idea and thought I'd share it. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas (especially on where to get ceiling medallions locally) please share

That's a fantastic idea. You could always try Habitat for Humanity that resells old stuff. They're located a few blocks away from Seth & Marcie.

I just happened upon your blog - love the medallion idea. That will look nice. Your bathroom is coming along well. Looks like your men have done a nice job on the tile. It is nice to have guys that can do projects like that. Glad your parents made it safely to Tulsa and back. It's weird how you guys got so much snow and we hardly got any. You, and the rest of the Believers there, are in our prayers. Laura R.

What a great idea for adding color AND texture! I love it! I'm sure it'll look fantastic when it's done =) Call Grace about the medallions...I'll bet she'd know!

Ooooh, I LOVE the idea!

You know, I think you can go to Ace Hardware's website and sign up for their email. They send out really great coupons!
